Dayna Brons was a 24-year old young woman serving as the athletic therapist for the Humboldt Broncos ice hockey team, a member of the SJHL, on the tragic day that their bus was hit by an oncoming truck. Dayna is remembered as a hard-working, dedicated young woman with a passion for life, for hockey, and for this profession. She did not seek the spotlight, and had a very bright future ahead of her.
In her memory, we are honored to present the Dayna Brons Memorial Scholarship each spring to a Western PA athletic training student who exemplifies her dedication and commitment to the profession as well as her zest for life.
The Spring 2024 Scholarship will be awarded in April, and will be worth $1000.
Application materials will be due no later than March 17th, 2024.
