We are starting to get things together for this year’s golf outing fundraiser as well as looking forward to reviewing incoming scholarship applications (due mid-March!). Every year I am caught off guard that I have been entrusted with such an amazing gift – not only to help honor the memory of Dayna and the rest of the Broncos’ family, but to also help make life a bit easier for a future athletic trainer. The support from the hockey and sports medicine communities throughout North America plus the participation from our more local community is always so humbling to see and be a part of. While life goes on for most of us, working with the DBMS Foundation and all who support us helps me to take some time to slow down, appreciate this amazing career path, and remember that life is precious.
