We are officially in preparation mode for our Third Annual awarding of the scholarship as well as the upcoming Third Annual golf outing in support of that scholarship. I am looking forward to growth in all areas of the foundation this year – we have upped the scholarship amount once again, to $1000 this year! Additionally, there appears to be growing national and international interest in our efforts, which I am hopeful will turn into increased participation for the golf outing both on and off the course.
Without getting too far ahead of myself, I am so incredibly grateful for the people that support this endeavor that was “gifted” to me back in 2018. The relationships I have made with the Brons family and many community members more close by are amazing, and the opportunities we have afforded to two very deserving future clinicians bring me great joy. Reading the applications from students each year renews my love for athletic medicine and gives me hope that this amazing profession will continue to grow. I am hopeful to continue to provide monetary support as well as other opportunities for athletic medicine students and early professionals as this wonderful little foundation continues to expand.
